Heading into the holiday season, I’m going to do a small “DO YOU KNOW” thread, one tweet per day, on how I like to use @okx app in US. Let’s see how many days I can go…

DO YOU KNOW 1️⃣ My favorite basic move on @okx app: Place a recurring buy order for bitcoin (daily, weekly or monthly), using USDG balance ✅ dollar cost average at my own pace ✅ 4% APY (paid weekly) with idle USDG ✅ pair this up with a recurring buy of USDG to maintain the dry powder ✅ accumulate bitcoin and later withdraw into cold wallet

DO YOU KNOW 2️⃣ A more advanced move beyond recurring buy: Go to “exchange mode” on @okx app and set a limit order with USDG balance ✅ buy the dip with precision while asleep ✅ set it up and forget about it ✅ 4% APY (paid weekly) on idle USDG when waiting for a good entry ✅ Make volatility your best friend and reduce your average cost of acquisition I woke up this morning to another Bitcoin Black Friday. Luckily I’ve placed a limit order a few days ago, and it has been executed automatically😉

Let the bot do the heavy lifting for you. ✅ A good short-to-medium-term tactical tool to keep things simple and automatic ✅ Turn volatility and sideways movements into profits ✅ Ability to set TP/SL for better risk management ‼️ alert: A spot grid bot is not a long-term strategy. It generally does NOT work in a strong sustained up or down trend, nor for assets with low volatility. For assets with high volatility, you’ll also need to closely monitor the bot and the market situations. ‼️Always study the risks of the tools and the underlying assets before getting into them… There are a lot of free education resources on YouTube. DO YOU KNOW 7️⃣ “DCA” plus “buy-the-dip” is my usual way of accumulating bitcoin. I’m also starting to experiment with “DCA Bot”. Welcome expert thoughts and feedback since I’m not a trader and this is the first time I put up a price-triggered DCA bot… Swipe to “exchange” in @okx US app. Under “Bot” section you will see two bots available: spot grid bot that I talked about a few days earlier, and “spot DCA bot” that I’m trying now This bot allows you to ✅ set recurring buys at a trigger price (in my case, I ask it to buy at every 2% dip) ✅ define how many buys you want in one bot, and how much to buy each time ✅ define a “take profit” point to close the bot I’m putting in an experimental amount to see if this bot can help me capture some market volatility in the future.
