🔵 Fluid activates its buyback and launches the Fluid Reserve — @0xfluid 🌊
After surpassing $10M in cumulative revenue, it’s now official: Fluid has triggered its $FLUID buyback mechanism.
The protocol announced the creation of the "Fluid Reserve": an on-chain reserve designed to buyback FLUID tokens using the protocol’s generated revenue.
A few key details:
◻️ The first buyback took place on October 3.
◻️ During the first month, Fluid will redirect 100% of Ethereum-based revenue to the Reserve.
◻️ Revenues from Solana, Plasma, and the DEX V2 will be integrated progressively.
◻️ Currently, Ethereum accounts for around 80% of Fluid’s revenue, roughly $1.7M per month.
Fluid has become one of the leading DeFi protocols and the fastest-growing DEX on Ethereum.
With a market size exceeding $6B and annualized revenue above $16M, it has now established itself as a leader in lending and stablecoin swaps.
The launch of the Fluid Reserve marks a key milestone: aligning the protocol’s growth with the market performance of the $FLUID token.
