Pyth Network & Kalshi Partner to Bring Regulated Prediction Data On-Chain
Pyth Network is partnering with Kalshi, the first U.S. federally regulated event-exchange platform, to stream prediction-market data on-chain across more than 100 blockchains.
Under the agreement, Kalshi’s regulated event-market data — covering a wide range of real-world outcomes including political elections, economic indicators, sports results and more — will be made available via Pyth’s oracle infrastructure to developers, institutions and DeFi protocols. The deal marks the first time regulated event-data of this scale has been embedded on-chain, the firms said.
Pyth said the integration allows builders to access real-time probabilities of future events, turning expectations into composable on-chain data. Kalshi, which has expanded to register users in 140 countries and recently raised US$300 million at a US$5 billion valuation, provides the regulated data source.
The move could open new use-cases in decentralized finance, such as event-driven derivatives, hedging instruments and tokenised products built around real-world outcomes.
