How do I navigate to the program?

On the app

  1. On the home page, go to Main menu

    Select the icon to access an expanded page with your profile, settings and shortcuts

  2. Once you're at the Personal Center, proceed to the VIP landing page by selecting the VIP menu

    Once you're on the landing page, you're able to submit your application

On the web

  1. On the home page, select the More option and select VIP program

    Load open the More menu and select VIP program from the list

  2. You'll be redirected to the VIP landing page

How do I qualify for the program?

You can qualify for the program based on any one of the following:

  • Trading Volume (Past 30 Days)

    • Spot, Futures, or Options trading volume is measured in USD equivalent.

    • VIP tiers start from VIP 1 and go up to VIP 9.

  • Asset Holdings

    • You can also qualify if you hold sufficient assets on our platform.

    • Starts at a minimum of 100,000 USD in assets for VIP 1.

How do I apply for it?

When you meet the requirement, your account is automatically upgraded. If you're already a VIP on Binance, Bybit, or another exchange platform, we may fast-track you to a matching tier. You’ll need to submit your past 30-day volume or asset proof. All you have to do is navigate to the VIP program page and submit your application.

The platform snapshots your trading volume and assets daily at 16:00 (UTC) and updates your VIP tier between 20:00–22:00 (UTC). Deposits of 1,000 USD or more will trigger an immediate tier review.

How do I become a VIP on OKX?

You can qualify automatically when your assets or trading volume reach the VIP 1 threshold (USD 100,000 in assets, or USD 1,000,000 in 30-day trading volume). The platform snapshots daily at 16:00 UTC and updates VIP tiers between 20:00–22:00 UTC. Deposits of USD 1,000 or more trigger an immediate review.

I'm a VIP on Binance, Bybit, Bitget, or Gate.io — can I get matched on OKX?

Yes. Submit a screenshot of your VIP tier and recent trading activity on the source exchange, and we'll grant you a Trial tier 1 or 2 levels above your competitor tier, up to OKX VIP 6.

You'll need to show at least one of the following:

  • Total assets ≥ USD 30,000

  • 30-day Spot volume ≥ USD 500,000

  • 30-day Futures volume ≥ USD 2,500,000

How the trial works

  • We review your status every 30 days. If you qualify for a different tier, your tier adjusts automatically.

  • During the first 30 days, you won't be downgraded even if your activity dips.

  • If you fall below the VIP 1 threshold at review, the trial ends. You can reapply 30 days later.
