Here’s everything I’ve noticed that’s different about the Cybercab Tesla drove to In-N-Out Burger today compared to the version they showed a year ago:
• Front side repeater camera has been moved slightly forward
• Slightly redesigned front end and light bar area
• Longer front lower lip
• Redsigned B pillar area that looks to have moved slightly forward
• No gold paint on tires
• It looks like the door/window could now be frameless, similar to other current Teslas.
• Front license plate holder
• Front amber reflectors near wheel arch
• Production ready looking headlights
• There are exterior mirrors for now, but likely only because it's required by California law. Whether those will be on there when it goes into production remains to be seen, as the initial cabs will likely be in Austin, TX.
Back in 2023, Tesla engineers took the Cybertruck to an In-N-Out Burger — about 6 months before deliveries began. Now, with today’s photos showing the Cybercab at In-N-Out and Elon confirming last week that production will start in Q2 2026, it looks like the Cybercab’s design is pretty much finalized and mass production could begin as soon as 6 months from now. Seems this In-N-Out visit is a tradition now lol. Nevertheless, this thing is just around the corner. Exciting times!
